Introduction
We are excited to announce our upcoming MusicNBrain Online Competition! This event is designed to celebrate the diverse talents of musicians from various genres, instruments and age groups. Below you'll find all the detailed information you need regarding the registration process, competition categories and specific requirements for contestants.
Our competition is divided into multiple categories based on genre and instrument to accommodate a wide range of musical talents. Whether you are a solo performer or part of a chamber ensemble, we have a place for you. Additionally, we have specific categories for different age groups, ensuring a fair and enjoyable competition for all. These age groups are broken down as follows:

Solo Categories
Piano Contestants: Pieces performed should showcase a range of technical skills and musicality.
Strings, Woodwinds and Other Contestants: Focus will be on tone quality, technical execution, and musical interpretation.
Chinese Instruments Contestants: We welcome traditional and contemporary pieces that highlight the unique characteristics of Chinese instruments.

To register for the competition, please click register button to start registration. Two different music pieces
Video Guidelines
Submit a video recording of your performance adhering to our guidelines:
You must enter the URL your video in your application form, any public video URL is acceptable, however, please test video access before your submission. We'll not evaluate your video if it cannot be accessed.
All performances in-person or online must be performed from memory. No usage of scores is allowed.
Horizontal video is preferred.
Contestants are not permitted to record repertoire separately and combine separate recordings of different pieces into one video.
Any editing or splicing within a piece (in any manner whatsoever) is prohibited and will result in immediate disqualification.
The video may be recorded with clear lighting and clearly shows the piano keyboard, pedal, hands, and the face of the contestant.
Each video title must include the contestant’s full name and age.
Piano Performance Evaluation System
The piano competition judges will provide detailed comments and scoring using the Ory Shihor Institute’s 4 Dimensions of Performance Evaluation and Grading System, which is designed exclusively for classical piano performance students.
